Nissan is making promises for some “real drama” at the upcoming 27th Sao Paulo International Motor Show that takes place in Brazil from October 24 to November 4, where it will host the world premiere of a new, and as-of-yet, unnamed concept model.
The Japanese automaker says that the “high-character concept will introduce a unique new genre to the automotive world” adding that it has not only been crafted specifically for the Sao Paulo show, but it was also made with the cooperation of Brazilian designers and built in the country.
“The showcar will dazzle on two counts,” said Shiro Nakamura, Senior Vice President and Chief Creative Officer of Nissan. “It is a genuinely new and exciting concept, and it will explode with energetic design and impressive color that fully express our impression toward the country.”
While the two splashy teaser images released by Nissan leave plenty to the imagination, it looks like the concept is a compact- or smaller-sized model, either a sporty coupe or a two-door CUV, with its styling borrowing elements from the GT-R including the front grille design and the heavily sculpted front fenders that incorporate air outlets.
Full details and imagery on the concept should be released within the next few days.
