Renault has selected the 27th Sao Paulo International Motor Show in Brazil that opens to the public from October 24 to November 4 for the world premiere of its not-so-new, 2013 Clio Mercosur.

For those of you wondering, Mercosur is the name for South America’s leading trading bloc that is made up of Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela, while other associate members include Bolivia, Chile, Colombia and Peru.

The Clio Mercosur represents yet another update to the second generation Clio that was sold in Europe from 1998 to late 2005, when the Clio Mk3 replaced it. As a reminder, the French carmaker lifted the wraps of the fourth-generation model at last month’s Paris Motor Show.

Renault isn’t giving away any specific details on the South American market 2013 Clio Mercosur, but the pictures are pretty much self-explanatory, as the French brand simply grafted a new nose on the car inspired from the latest Clio and made some other subtle tweaks such as the revamped tail lamp fixtures.
