If there was ever a facepalm moment, this would be it – no question. In the early morning hours of Friday, a Memphis police officer stopped an old Ford pickup truck on a routine patrol for driving with antique-issue license plates.
The reason why the driver was pulled over is that this type of plates are issued for automobiles that are considered classics or of historic value and allow owners to drive them only during weekends and special occasions. However, that wasn’t the only violation that the cops discovered…
As it turns out, the unnamed 43-year old driver of the truck had his license suspended and was on probation for manufacturing of meth. That said, painting the words “Meth Lab” on the side and rear windows with large letters isn’t a very bright idea…but wait, it gets worse, much worse.
Here’s where the great faceplam comes in: according to the report from WMC-TV, upon further investigation of the classic Ford truck, the Memphis police officers found not one, but two so-called “Shake N Bake” plastic bottle, which are said to be commonly used in mobile meth labs!
Naturally, the man was arrested immediately and charged with all sorts of violations ranging from driving with a suspended license to manufacturing of meth.
