GM’s most promising effort yet to take on the German trio of compact executive sedans, the all-new 2013 Cadillac ATS, went on sale in the U.S. this summer.

It took a few months, but we now have the first (or at least, the first we’ve heard of) tuning program made exclusively for the sports sedan from Cadillac specialist, D3 Group.

The California-based brand’s engineers and designers have prepared a first batch of cosmetic and performance modifications for the ATS with more parts being prepared for launch at the beginning of next year.

D3 Group’s current program begins with a styling package comprising a black grille, front bumper add-ons, side skirts with or without “air-foils”, deck-lid and roof spoilers, and alloy wheels.

The tuner’s engineers have come up with a few tricks to improve the ATS’ performance such as a new air intake system, “Street” and “Competition” lowering springs and a coilover system.
