If you have been to a museum, you will know that touching any exhibit is forbidden. The same holds true for the BMW Museum located near the Olympiapark in Munich, Germany, but once a year, the Bavarian carmaker organizes the “Night of the White Gloves” allowing visitors to actually touch its automotive displays.
As the name suggests, this can only be done if visitors wear a pair of white gloves that are provided by the automaker. The fifth edition of BMW’s “Night of the White Gloves” will take place on Friday, November 23, from 7pm until midnight.
“The ‘Night of the White Gloves’ is a unique event in the museum landscape,” said Ralf Rodepeter, Director of the BMW Museum. “It offers our visitors a rare opportunity to get a feel – quite literally – for BMW’s brand history, which now goes back more than 95 years.”
Currently, there are more than 125 exhibits at the BMW Museum, including classics like the 328, while a special highlight this month is the 25th anniversary of the Z1 roadster.
