As you have no doubt seen from the news as well as the numerous videos circulating around the web, Hurricane-then-turned-into-mega storm Sandy damaged or completely destroyed a great number of cars in the northeast region of the U.S.
Nissan North America (NNA) is among the automakers eager to give a helping hand to those who suffered the devastating effects of the storm and…make a few sales out it, by offering employee pricing and discounted financing on new Nissan and Infiniti vehicles (and no, you won’t get a discount on the GT-R…).
The Japanese carmaker said the offer applies to eligible individuals in FEMA-designated disaster and emergency areas, who need to replace their damaged vehicles.
“Nissan is a major player in the Northeast region with more than 225 dealers in the affected areas and is eager to lend a hand to neighbors who have been left without a means of personal transportation,” said Brian Carolin, senior vice president, sales and marketing, NNA. “Nissan is offering both employee pricing and employee financing rates to eligible storm victims as one way to help them return to normal.”
In the affected areas, the offer is effective immediately (November 1, 2012) and will run through January 2, 2013.
Nissan said it will release more specific details about the discounts and financing options on Friday, November 2, but we made a list of the current special prices that the carmaker offers to Nissan / Infiniti or affiliate employees, as well as their immediate family members, and which you can check out below.
As for existing customers in FEMA disaster areas, NNA said that it will offer payment extensions “to both qualifying lease and retail customers for up to three payments without extension fees”
