After a giving us a first taste of what it is preparing for the new generation of the Porsche Boxster (with the internal codename 981) in September, German aftermarket tuner TechArt released a fresh set of photos and some additional details on its styling and performance program.

“Our aim was to give the Porsche Boxster an even sportier expression with intelligently applied exterior components while simultaneously underlining the elegant look of the vehicle”, says TechArt’s Managing Director Thomas Behringer.

The exterior makeover includes a body kit with a two-part front spoiler, a fixed rear wing, mirror trims, crosspieces on the side air vents and subtle decorative trims on the rear diffuser.

To complete the package, the tuner adds new tailpipe exits for the sport exhaust system with valve control, 21-inch light alloy wheels available in a selection of designs, plus a sport spring kit that lowers the ride height by 30 mm at the front and 20 mm at the rear axle of the car.

Interior options include a full leather treatment, carbon fiber trim packages, bespoke paddle shifters, steering wheel and instrument dials, aluminum sport pedals and foot rest, and door entry guards.

TechArt’s Porsche 981 tuning program will be shown to the public for the first time at next month’s Essen Motor Show in Germany.
