The Chrysler Group just can’t seem to get its twits tweets right. Some 18 months after an employee of an associated company that handled the firm’s Twitter account wrote a posting with the “F” word that eventually got him fired, we have another episode, one that caused new embarrassment for the automaker.
Earlier today, the person responsible for the Dodge brand’s social media account posted a tweet that read: “Not even a #DodgeFan outlaw can out run this Challenger cop car.on.fb.me/RWzh0B twitter.com/Dodge/status/2”
There is nothing wrong with that, right? Correct, but the problem wasn’t with what was written but with the picture that accompanied the tweet as it wasn’t a Challenger but a modified BMW E46 3-Series (possibly an M3) in police car trim…
Dodge’s Twitter handler removed the posting but not before Jalopnik took a snapshot of the posting.
