The fans over at Lego’s Cuusoo have spoken and their wish is the famous Danish plastic brick company’s command.
And what exactly did the people wish for at Cuusso, which is an official site where you can share your Lego set concepts with the hope that someone from the company’s head honchos in Denmark will like your idea?
Well, some 10,000 fans voted for a Lego version of the “Back to the Future” DeLorean.
“It is with great pleasure we reveal that the next LEGO CUUSOO set will be the Back to the Future Time Machine, based upon the LEGO CUUSOO project by m.togami and Sakuretsu,” said the company on its official blog.
In addition to the DeLorean set, creators m.togami and Sakuretsu have also proposed Lego editions of Biff Tannen’s Ford roadster and the Hill Valley Courthouse.
The Danish company said the actual production pieces will be released next year.
“The final product is still in development in coordination with our license partner, Universal Partnerships & Licensing. We’ll show the final model and you’ll be able to order your own copy when it becomes available in mid-2013 (exact dates and pricing to be determined),” explained Lego.
