The star attractions at BMW‘s Detroit motor show stand in January will no doubt be the new 4-Series concept and the production M6 Gran Coupe, but the Bavarian carmaker has a few more world debuts up its sleeve, including the 2014 Z4 roadster we told you about earlier today, and two new limited edition versions of the 1-Series.
Available as an option on most engine variants of the 1-Series Coupe and Convertible models, the new Limited Edition Lifestyle package adds new styling details and equipment features.
On the outside, buyers can choose from three colors including Sapphire Black metallic, Space Grey metallic and the exclusive to this model, Mineral White metallic paint.
Regardless of the exterior shade, all models feature newly styled 18-inch alloy wheels, white decorative trim on the double kidney grille, Chrome Line window recess finishers and window surrounds, and for the Convertible, a brown soft-top with silver pigmentation.
In addition, the exhaust tailpipe embellishers are finished in matt chrome or black chrome (135i and 123d)
Inside, the seats, steering wheel rim, and door panels are dressed in brown leather trim with white contrast stitching, with BMW also adding specially badged door sill strips, ‘Fineline Stream’ exquisite wood strips, an anthracite-colored roof liner and floor mats with color-coordinated piping.
Pricing and availability of the new 1-Series Coupe and Convertible Limited Edition Lifestyle models will be announced soon.
