The new Citan urban delivery van is the fruit of the partnership between Mercedes-Benz parent company Daimler and the Renault-Nissan Alliance. It is based on the French firm’s successful Kangoo series and is available in three different body variants.

While it hasn’t been on the market that long since European sales began in October, the Citan has already caught the attention of tuners, with German aftermarket company KTW Tuning presenting, if not the first, one of the first programs for Mercedes’ smallest commercial vehicle.

KTW Tuning’s initial offerings include a new set of 18-inch alloy wheels with five double spokes wrapped in beefy tires size 225/40ZR18 and mounted on 10-mm spacers on all four corners.

A sports suspension with shorter springs that lower the van’s ride height to improve both handling and its stance, along with new red-colored brake calipers on all four wheels, round out KTW Tuning’s program that is priced at €1,999 (US$2,650), including VAT (tax) and installation.
