You could say that videographer John Hill was at the right time at the right place when a mudslide hit and derailed a Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNFS) freight train between Seattle and Everett in Washington State on Monday evening, but then again, one might have expected that this would eventually have happened…

You see, according to a report from the Bellingham Herald, a mudslide had occurred in the same area earlier that day, covering the train tracks.

A BNSF spokesman told the news daily said that the second slide derailed seven freight cars that were loaded with a variety of goods including small packages of disinfectant and chemicals, adding that a hazardous materials team was on hand, but found no threat to the environment or public health. Luckily, no one was hurt in the incident.
