You won’t be able to notice it just by looking at it from the outside, but Bentley has updated its Mulsanne luxury sedan, which will be formally presented the Geneva International Salon d’Auto in the beginning of March, with customer orders commencing in April.
With the exception of three new additions to the color palette, namely the Dark Cashmere, Portofino and Damson, all changes on the 2014MY Mulsanne take place inside with Bentley introducing a host of new luxury features to its flagship model.
These include a new Comfort Specification, which adds comfort headrests, footrests and duck down filled loose cushions, and an Entertainment Specification option offering rear picnic tables designed for an iPad and wireless keyboard, twin, 8-inch LCD headrest screens, incorporating a 20 GB hard drive and DVD player, plus two sets of Bluetooth headphones and a remote control.
Additional revisions to the interior of the 2014MY Mulsanne include privacy curtains, a new rear door armrest storage compartment, three additional hide options, and the introduction of a new set of bespoke luggage pieces handmade by Italian luggage specialists Schedoni with two large cases, two small cases and two foldable garment bags.
Commenting on the updates for the Mulsanne, Bentley board member Kevin Rose, said:
“The new features of the Mulsanne blend striking design with the latest in technology integration, enabling our pinnacle model to offer the grandest of touring experiences. The Mulsanne presents unrivalled luxury and effortless performance, and these enhancements will help broaden the appeal of the Mulsanne in new and emerging markets.”
