The MC700 is the newest tuning package for the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG sports car to arrive in the market and it comes courtesy of German performance outfit McChip-DKR.

It’s first duty is to take care of the pre-facelift SLS AMG’s 6.2-liter V8 engine that in factory trim, is rated for 563hp (571PS) and 650Nm (579 lb-ft) of peak torque. There are four different stages, each of which brings in something new, including a supercharger kit, an ECU upgrade and a Capristo exhaust system.

If you opt for the first three, output is lifted to 671hp (680PS) and peak torque to 770Nm (568 lb-ft). The cost for this conversion is a mind-blowing €69,900 (approximately US$89,500) – or at least that’s the number listed on the press statement.

For an extra €9,099 (US$12,200), you can get the aggressively tuned Stage 4 kit, which brings output to 696hp (706PS) and maximum torque to 793Nm (583 lb-ft).

A DDC- or HLS 4-sports suspension (hydraulically controlled) manufactured by KW, will deduct another €12,999 (US$17,400), while the two-tone wrap, an additional €5,999 (US$8,000) from your bank account.
