Well Jeep, if its attention you want with your new SUV, you certainly got it, thanks to these photos published on Jalopnik.
From what we understand, a Jeep-factory insider held up his (or her) camera, took a multitude of shots of a brand new model, and quickly sent the pictures over to the site’s crew, who are calling this the 2014 Cherokee. We’re going to assume that they learned the name from their soon-to-get in trouble source.
It’s a strange looking crossover/SUV on the outside, especially up front, that’s for sure, but the interior does have a more conventional styling.
From previous information we have, the 2014 Cherokee will ride on the Chrysler Group’s new Compact U.S. Wide (CUSW) platform architecture derived from the Alfa Romeo Giulietta, which is also used on the Dodge Dart.
That’s all we know for now, but we promise to update this post as soon as we learn more. In the meantime, you can head over to Jalopnik for some extra pictures of the car.
