As the flagship performance version of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan series, the C63 AMG is anything but a slouch with its 480hp (487PS) 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8, but German aftermarket firm Mcchip-dkr believes that it could do with some improvements.

While fiddling around with the engine electronics could yield a few extra horses, that wasn’t enough for Mcchip, which went ahead and also bolted on a supercharger system and a new custom exhaust with sport catalysts to the V8, lifting output to 650hp (660PS) and peak torque to 750Nm (553 lb-ft).

The tune continues with a KW-Clubsport suspension and the fitment of new MB rims in a “see through” design in the dimensions of 9×20 inches at the front and 10.5×20 inches at the rear, wrapped in Dunlop Sportmaxx tires.

And just to make sure that’s its creation stands out on the road, Mcchip covered the C63 AMG in a special foil wrap from CoverEFX.

According to the tuner, the engine upgrade alone costs €25,999 (about US$35,000). The display model seen in these pictures is also available for €84,999 (US$114,500).
