Renault put a lot of effort in the styling of its latest Clio series, be that for the five-door hatchback that is readily available, or the new Estate model that was revealed at the Paris Motor Show last year and which will soon go on sale across Europe.
As the French brand prepares for the Clio Estate’s market launch, it dropped a fresh collection of photos of the model with which it will try to increase its share in the popular B-segment category.
The Estate retains the wheelbase of the hatchback, but features a much longer rear overhang that increases the overall length of the car to 4,262 mm, and together adds 50 percent more boot space over the five-door model at 443 liters, which can be extended to 1,380 liters when the split rear seats are folded down.
Engines are regular Clio fare, which means, if you live in Europe, you can choose from two petrols, the 90PS Energy TCe turbocharged three-cylinder unit that returns 4.5lt/100km (52.3mpg US or 62.8mph UK) and 104g of CO2/km, and the 120PS TCe 1.2-liter turbo with Renault’s EDC dual-clutch transmission. There’s also a 90PS dCi diesel that consumes 3.2lt/100km (73.5mpg US or 88.2mpg UK) and emits 83g of CO2/km.
