A new rendering of a Volkswagen concept van named “e-Co-Motion” has emerged online ahead of a rumored world premiere at the Geneva Auto Show, something we have not yet independently confirmed.

The VW e-Co-Motion study is said to measure 4.55 meters (179 inches) long, 1.90m (74.8 inches) wide and 1.96m (77.2 inches) tall, which makes it more compact in dimensions than the Transporter, the length of which ranges from 4.9m (192.6 in) to 5,3m (208.3 in), depending on the version.

We’re also told that it had a payload of 800kg (1,763 pounds) and a load volume of up to 4.6 cubic meters, while the name suggests that it is motivated by an eco-friendly powertrain, though, at this point, we don’t know if that means an electric motor, a hybrid unit or a natural gas engine.

The styling of the e-Co-Motion looks like an evolution of the German brand’s 2011 eT! van Concept.

Once we get our hands on more details, we’ll post an update.
