If the design of the Porsche Panamera never caught up with you, then chances are the facelift model won’t win you over either, as the changes made to the sports saloon are the typical evolutionary updates we’ve become accustomed to from the Stuttgart company.
Nevertheless, this fresh batch of scoop photos provides us with the best look yet at the 2014 Panamera as Porsche engineers have removed all camouflage from the car sans the deceptive headlamp decals and the darkened film on the tail lamps.
The aesthetic revisions to the large liftback model concern the two ends starting with a newly shaped pair of headlamps and a revised bumper with different openings and slimmer auxiliary LED lights. In these pictures, you can the changes made to both the regular and Turbo versions of the Panamera.
At the back, Porsche’s designers added new tail light cluster with LED units, while they also lowered the tailgate opening and moved the license plate holder further down on the redesigned bumper.
Some updates are expected inside as well under the hood, though, the revised engines will mirror today’s line-up, ranging from the base diesel all the way up to the Turbo S.
We could see the facelifted Panamera as early as next month at the Shanghai Auto Show in China, but we wouldn’t be surprised if Porsche opts for the Frankfurt Motor Show in September for its world premiere.
