It is crazy to think what lengths some people will go to, in order to get what they want. In fact, it’s not crazy, it’s actually scary. Take this story, for example, that unfolded in Kenosha, Wisconsin, where a man used the signatures of his parents to buy a new GMC SUV, despite the fact that his mother was suffering from dementia, his father was blind and they didn’t really have enough money to afford the vehicle…

Apparently, the man first took his elderly mother from Illinois round to the dealership to get the papers signed, but her income alone was not enough to get the desired SUV. The son then had a dealership representative stop by their house, so that his blind elderly father, who has since passed away, could chip in with his pension.

In the end, the papers were signed, and the son was the proud owner of a spanking new $42,000 GMC Terrain, while his parents were left with a huge loan to deal with.

However, the daughter of the elderly couple brought all of this to light and is now asking for justice to be served. We say it was primarily the fault of the son, who obviously very easily scammed the dealership staff, but in their quest for better and better sales numbers in these cash-strapped times, car dealerships also have their part to play.

At least some of the damage was undone, when the dealership took back the SUV, and returned the money, which had already been paid. Also, the son, who was later apprehended for an unrelated crime, will not only spend some time in jail, but will also be at the hand of Karma for doing such unspeakable acts.
