GM had prepared us for the world premiere of the redesigned 2014 Chevrolet Camaro at the upcoming New York International Auto Show with an announcement earlier this month, and now, it is giving us a sneak peak at the refreshed muscle car through a cropped image of the front end.
In it, we see that the 2014 model year Camaro gains a much thinner grille piece, which at least in SS trim (that’s Chevy talk for the V8 model), features a chromed upper lip.
This is what GM said about the car in a short statement:
“The 2014 model represents the most significant change for the fifth-generation Camaro, which has been the most popular sports car in America for three consecutive years. The new Camaro will be joined by the all-new Corvette Stingray and Chevrolet SS performance sedan, completing the line of new performance vehicles Chevrolet will offer for 2014.”
Naturally, we’ll keep an eye out for more news and update you accordingly.
