The world’s automotive eyes may be focused on the ongoing Geneva International Auto Salon, but there’s another important event coming up this month, the 2013 New York International Auto Show, and we just learned that General Motors will be heading to the Big Apple with no less than five world premieres and a North American debut.
Besides the new Chevrolet SS sports sedan that we already know about, the other four world premieres from GM are a “refreshed” version of the 2014 Chevrolet Camaro, which the company says “advances the design and performance attributes that have made it the most popular sports car under $50,000 for three consecutive years,” two new Buicks and a Cadillac.
While GM didn’t name the last three models, from what we know, the two Buicks are the redesigned 2014 Regal and LaCrosse sedans, while the Cadillac will likely be the new generation of the CTS luxury saloon.
As for the North American premiere, it’s none other than the new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible that is currently on display in Geneva.
We’ll try to find more info and update accordingly.
