It has been three years since Nissan released the Micra hatchback at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, which means that it’s time for a mid-cycle update. And sure enough, Nissan has prepared a facelift for the sub-compact model, which was nabbed undisguised by a forum member of the Pulsar-Club during a commercial shoot in Thailand.
The cosmetic revamp is quite subtle and includes a nosejob with redesigned headlamps, grille, bumper and hood. The car’s profile remains intact, while at the rear end, the Micra appears to gain a re-sculptured bumper and fresh tail lamp graphics.
We do not have photos of the interior yet, but in an interview at last week’s Geneva Motor Show, Etienne Henry, Nissan’s VP Product planning, told Indianautosblog that the company plans to “bring more refinement and more premium-ness to the interior” of the refreshed Micra and its sedan sibling, the Sunny, which is known as the Versa saloon in the States.
