When individual buyers opt for an eye-popping pink paint job for their luxury ride, it’s usually a statement of opulence and occasionally…bad taste, but when automakers do it, most of the times, it has something to do with breast cancer awareness, which is the case of the pink-colored Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended Wheelbase special featured in these photos.
Baptized the FAB1, the British automaker created the bespoke Ghost sedan to support FAB1 Million and Breast Cancer Care.
Rolls-Royce explained: “Headed by Chris Evans, the FAB1 Million project is set to raise £1 million for Breast Cancer Care through making this bespoke Ghost available to hire over the next twelve months. This extraordinary car will make appearances at exclusive events as well as being available for hire for any special day, with all proceeds directly benefiting Breast Cancer Care.”
Besides the one-of-a-kind exterior paint job and the “Blushing Pink” and “Crème Light” interior leather scheme, the FAB1 Ghost gains some additional exclusive elements such as the pink accented umbrellas, ‘FAB1’ treadplates and hand-embroidered headrests featuring the Breast Cancer Care pink ribbon motif.
The project will launch on April 18 with the pink Ghost to chauffeur a number of stars from Land’s End to John O’Groats.
