It seems that parked cars are really good ramps for launching other vehicles into the air. Judging by the videos we’ve seen, it’s usually hatchbacks which offer the best lift. This new video shows how a woman in a red Mitsubishi (or so the badge suggests) hatchback gets some impressive two-wheel driving action. However, she does not topple the car over because it gently balances itself out using the trailer of a passing truck…
Now this is what we call luck! If the truck would not have been there at that precise moment, the red car would have ended up on its side, in a rather embarrassing turn of events. Furthermore, she hits the truck’s tire (or mudguard) and therefore damage to the car should be minimal – a lot less than if the truck would not have helped out.
Following the event, the driver gets out and she really can’t believe that she got away with that with so little damage to her car. Good thing there was another vehicle with a dash-mounted camera, to share this inadvertent win with the Internet.
