To celebrate four decades of manufacturing and further developing the famous (Lotus-sourced) Seven, Caterham has designed a new limited edition package that will be offered as a no cost option to the 40 first buyers of one of its cars from the UK or any of its official export markets.
What the limited edition ‘40 Years of Caterham’ brings to the two-seater model is, a grey painted chassis that replicates the original Lotus Seven, together with a ruby red ‘40yoc’ paint with bespoke bonnet stripes for the body and new 15-inch alloys with ‘40yoc’ wheel centres shod in Avon ZV3 tyres.
On the inside, there are hand-tailored leather seats with grey piping, a grey leather dashboard, a unique tunnel top with grey handbrake and gearstick gaiters, and a numbered dash plaque.
In the UK, the brand’s range of Seven models kicks off with the Roadsport 125 priced at £19,995 OTR, and tops out with the Superlight R500 that costs £42,495.
