A one-off Nissan Juke Nismo inspired by the final Batman film of Christopher Nolan’s successful Dark Knight Trilogy was handed over to the winner of a UK competition that started last year: self-confessed action film fan and local baker, Adam Williams from Wales.
“I can’t believe I’ve won this fantastic car – it was the biggest surprise of my life and I was so excited to take delivery of it,” said Williams upon receiving the keys to the specially modified Juke. “I’ll certainly turn a few heads driving around Carmarthen – it’s great to think I’m the only person in the world with my very own version of the Batmobile!”
To ramp up publicity and add some Hollywood glitz to the handover ceremony that took place in front of Carmarthen Castle, the Japanese carmaker brought along Batman’s Tumbler.
The special Juke is based on the 197bhp (200PS) Nismo edition gaining a flat black paint and red pin stripes, along with a number of other unique features such as a shark fin antenna replacing the standard car’s conventional aerial, aluminium Bat badges on the front grille and tailgate, plus 18-inch gloss-black alloy wheels with red detailing.
Inside, you’ll find “Bat” logos on the kickplates and reflective Bat badges on the headrests, while the “Bat” signal can be projected onto the floor area around the doors via the door mirrors and onto the black headlining too.
