To pump up interest in its RCZ range in the UK, Peugeot has released the RCZ Magnetic Limited Edition, which comes with extra equipment and is only available in black or white paint.
Built in a limited run of 170 units, the UK-exclusive Peugeot RCZ Magnetic boasts a higher level of standard equipment and added features while at the same time, priced lower than if the features were to be specified individually.
Built on the base Sport equipment level, the RCZ Magnetic Limited Edition gains front and rear parking aids, interior sports kit comprising soft touch leather steering wheel and short shift gear lever, an Audio, CD and satellite navigation system, Peugeot Connect SOS and Assistance and sports front seats. The leather seats can be had in black (on the white painted model) or red flame (on the black model).
On the outside, the is offered in Pearlescent Pearl white or Metallic Nera black shades and also gets a “Black pack” design upgrade that includes matt black roof arches, brilliant black front grille, door mirror covers and brake callipers. Other enhancements include 19-inch “Sortilege” alloy wheels with an onyx matt black finish.
The RCZ Magnetic LE can be specified with any of the three engines available for the standard RCZ, namely the 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline units (with outputs of 156 and 200 horsepower) and the 163hp 2.0-liter diesel unit. The cheapest RCZ Magnetic LE model is the one fitted with the 1.6-liter THP 156, which costs £25,350 (€29,990), £3,755 (€4,440) more than the standard RCZ Sport with the same engine.
