Following yesterday’s release of the first rendering showing the Rapid Sport study that Skoda will display tomorrow at the 2013 Wörthersee Tour festival, three more sketches have surfaced on the Internet.
They look to be as official as the first one and show the car from different angles, including the rear. The sporty theme displayed by the front end is carried over to the back, with a massive air diffuser fitted to the lower part of the bumper, which also integrates two wide exhaust pipes, one on each side.
The Rapid Sport also features a spoiler lip, possibly made from carbon fiber – the same goes for the diffuser.
The taillights feature new graphics, with the black inserts bringing an overall darker atmosphere, while the rear bumper continues the theme of the front bumper that features intertwined bars. We wouldn’t mind at all seeing a Skoda Rapid Sport on the streets in the future, but that is unlikely to happen anytime soon given that Skoda is preparing for the launch of the new Octavia RS.
Until Skoda releases official photos and technical details of the concept car (that shouldn’t take very long since the Wörthersee fest starts tomorrow and runs until Saturday, May 11), you can take a look at the sketches and tell us if you’d like to see the Rapid Sport entering production.
