Ask anyone who knows what a motorized vehicle with four wheels is if he or she would like to own a Bugatti Veyron, and the answer would be a great, loud “yes”. Aspiring to own one, and being able to do so, are two very different things, as the Molsheim, France-based carmaker’s single production model costs as much as a couple of brand-new Lamborghini Aventdaor LP700-4s and a pretty family house to go with it.

What is that we hear you say; replica cars? Sure, if you don’t mind rolling around a Suzuki hatch or a Civic dressed as a Veyron… Are there any better ones? Well, the 2002 Mercury Cougar-based Veryon clone we found a few years back wasn’t that bad from the pictures, though, we’ve no idea how it looked up close. All this brings us to a Craigslist ad discovered by Carscoops reader Max.

The listing is titled ” Bugatti Veyron replica – custom – $150000″, and no, there’s no mistake with the zeros, while the entrepreneur points out that the picture is of the…real car not the copy (trust and honesty is everything, right?).

Now, if you’re not quite ready or insane to spend $150k on a replica you have yet to see from a Craigslist ad, the seller will give you a $5,000 commission if you find someone in the wrong state of mind who will. Don’t you just love Craigslist?
