With the brand-new five-seater C4 Picasso’s face already out in the open, Citroen is now concentrating on the release of its longer and more spacious sibling, the seven-seater C4 Grand Picasso. Carscoops reader Ludovic sent us a scanned page from the French car magazine Auto Journal with the first official photos of the versatile family MPV, and some details, though; we couldn’t make out the main text and numbers.
A search on the interwebs landed us on the Planete-Citroen forums where member Frédoën shared a handful of pictures of the new C4 Grand Picasso that he nabbed parked outside a furniture store in eastern France without a single drop of camouflage.
The Grand model keeps the regular C4 Picasso’s front-end design intact adding a longer body with a taller and more conventional looking roofline to add a third row of seats for two more passengers or a much larger boot when not in use.
Expect the seven-seat model to offer a similar mix of diesel and petrol engines as the C4 Picasso when Citroen announces details within the next few days or weeks.
