About a year after the local launch of the revised and more importantly, now made in the USA, Outlander Sport, Mitsubishi has released pricing and details on the 2014MY version of its compact crossover.
For the new model year, Mitsubishi has made some changes to the Outlander Sport that comes with a $300 increase in price for all four available versions, which now range from $19,470 for the front-wheel drive ES with a 5-speed manual to $23,995 for the AWD SE with a CTV and paddle shifters. The FWD SE model has been discarded.
All models feature a new engine balancer shaft, improved sound insulation, and a re-designed steering wheel with audio controls, while the ES grade gains an audio system head unit, and the SE, an HD Radio and a 6.1-in. touchscreen display audio system with rearview camera.
Furthermore, the SE Touring Package sports a new navigation system with a 7-inch high definition touch panel, voice command, 3D mapping, point-of-interest information, real-time traffic and Mapcare, along with black leather seating, while the SE Premium Package adds power adjustable driver’s seat.
Finally, Mitsubishi also added an optional LED Daytime Running Lights Package with front corner extensions as well as a new Premium Package for the SE trim level.
