The 4-Series isn’t the only new nameplate to join the ranks of BMW as the brand with the blue and white roundel logo is now preparing a new addition in the form of the 2-Series, which will take away the coupe and convertible models from the 1-Series lineup.
What we have here is a realistic digital render of what the new 2-Series Coupe with an M Sport package will look like when it goes on sale worldwide next year, courtesy of the creative minds over at Humster3D.
It’s a decent attempt, but we’d say it’s a little off from the actual car in certain aspects, especially when you compare the renders to the revealing spy shots of the M235i Coupe that was caught off guard during a photo shoot in May, as the latter’s roof looks lower and the front end flatter, and more aggressively shaped.
The production 2-Series coupe will be offered with a similar gasoline, and in Europe, diesel engine lineup as the 1-Series hatchback range, including the well received 2.0-liter and 3.0-liter turbocharged petrols.
