After a careful examination of this video documented incident from Japan, we decided to give this Tokyo train worker an “A” for the effort, work ethics, and dedication, but an arguably generous “F” for his touch with reality and safety measures.

Who knows what was going on in his mind when during what looks to be a routine maintenance check, the train wagons, which surely weigh several hundred tons, started slipping and moving on the rails, he grabbed one by the metal bumper. .

It was a split-second decision, but one he would not change as he never let go even though it was clearly a lost cause. Amusingly, another employee also jumped in to do the same, but evidently, reason kicked in and he let go.
