The passenger versions of Ford’s new Tourneo Connect van series are now available to order in the United Kingdom with the five-seat Tourneo Connect priced from £14,245 and the bigger seven-seat Grand Tourneo Connect from £16,985.
There are four available engines, three of which are offered on both models, including the 1.6-liter Duratorq TDCi diesel with a choice of 94hp (85PS) and 113hp (115PS) outputs, and the 148hp (150PS) 1.6-liter EcoBoost petrol paired exclusively to a six-speed automatic.
The five-seat Connect Tourneo can also be fitted with Ford’s new 99hp (100PS) 1.0-liter turbocharged EcoBoost petrol unit returning a combined fuel economy of 50.4mpg UK (5.6 l/100 or 42.0 mpg US) and 129g/km CO2 emissions.
Among other standard and optional equipment features are a large glass panoramic roof, a ‘hidden’ box with a 12V socket above the instrument cluster, Auto-Start-Stop, Active Grille Shutter, and Ford SYNC.
