You could say that Nissan poked a finger at Toyota and the Tundra pickup truck that was chosen to briefly haul the 150,000-pound (75 tons) Endeavour Space Shuttle last October, with its latest accomplishment in the Middle East.

Nissan managed to enter the Guinness Book of World Records for “the heaviest aircraft pulled by a production car” today after a regular V8-powered Patrol SUV (a sister car to the North American Infiniti QX80, formerly known as the QX), successfully towed a 170-tonne (340,000 lbs) cargo airplane at the Sharjah International Airport in the United Arab Emirates.
