As far as eccentric creations go, this Bentley Continental GT coupe found for sale in Marbella, Spain, takes a very high spot in our list. To begin with, the seller states that it’s a “Rolls-Royce ONE OFF PROTOTYPE” that’s based on a Bentley Continental GT. As hard as we tried, we couldn’t find a single connection with any Rolls-Royce model – can you?
What the custom-body Bentley did remind us of is the Aston Martin One-77 when looking at it from the profile, the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti from the rear, and Maserati’s grille when checking it out from the front end.
We’re told that the body paneling adds about half a meter (500mm or 20 inches) to the Bentley’s length and 120mm (4.7 inches) to its girth. The car is said to be brand new and the asking price is – wait for it – €350,000 (US$468,000 / GBP 301,000). Let me check my bank account…
