If you’re not interested in a pickup truck, you’re not going to buy one no matter how many commercials a brand releases. However, but unlike Toyota UK’s questionable promo-interview of a man giving up his Ferrari for a Prius, we found these fresh cheeky spots from the Japanese carmaker’s U.S. arm for the Tacoma quite enjoyable.

The new series of ads places the Tacoma against four different characters, including a weeping girlfriend, a French mime, a magician and a dark-looking Reaper, with each one promoting a certain aspect and quality of the pickup truck that was last updated in late 2011.
