Those of you who don’t like clicking on links to learn more about the new 911 Turbo Convertibles, here’s the short story.
Like their metal-top siblings that were unveiled just a few months ago, the two convertible models sport a 3.8-liter six-cylinder turbocharged engine delivering 513hp (520PS) on the Turbo, and 552hp (560PS) on the Turbo S, for a 0-100km/h (62mph) acceleration of 3.5 and 3.2 seconds respectively, with a common top speed of 318 km/h (198 mph).
As with predecessor models, the Turbo convertibles feature a soft top, which in this case, opens and closes in around 13 seconds, at speeds of up to 50 km/h (31 mph).
Following their debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in late November, the 911 Turbo and Turbo S Convertibles will begin to arrive in dealerships around the world.
