With a starting price of around £45,000 (€54,000 or US$71,600) in England, the new Alfa Romeo 4C isn’t exactly affordable to the masses, but it’s the cheapest, brand-new, mid-engine sports car from Italy, and that must count for something.
It does for us at least, and we were intrigued to learn that the first test drive of the new 4C from someone other than anyone affiliated with the Fiat Group (i.e. Giancarlo Fisichella) has surfaced online. The winning publication is Holland’s Autoweek, and yes, it’s in Dutch, but there are English subtitles.
It is in no way a full review, just a first drive-style test that introduces us to the Alfa 4C and outlines some of its qualities and to a lesser extent, its hindrances, without really going into depth – we’re sure more comprehensive reviews will follow over the next few days and weeks from a number of outlets.
For now, hop over the break to watch the video.
Thanks to Andreas for the video tip!
