The first major event of the new automotive season to take place on American soil will be the 2013 SEMA Show in Las Vegas from November 5 to 8, with carmakers, tuners and aftermarket companies already beginning to advertise their goods to create some extra hype around their products.

Today, we received a notice from HRE Wheels about the debut of a “1,200 HP Surprise” developed in cooperation with Pure Vision LLC for the SEMA Show.

While nothing else specific was mentioned about the car, the release was accompanied by photo of a modified 1970s Chevrolet Camaro Coupe, which could be the 1,200hp model HRE is talking about – unless it’s one of the other vehicles the company mentioned it plans to put on display.

Either way, we’ll keep an eye open for all SEMA Show unveilings.
