What are the chances of Mercedes-Benz building a more menacing, more powerful, more focused and, of course, costlier Black Edition version of the CLA 45 AMG sports saloon, much in the likes of the already available SLS AMG GT Black Edition and C63 AMG Black Edition cars?
Well, we’d say it’s possible to happen in the near future, though, with the base model’s 2.0-liter turbocharged four already being pushed at its limits at 355-horsepower (360PS) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque, it would be a tall order for AMG engineers to improve it output without jeopardizing reliability.
Regardless of what Mercedes has in store for us in the real world, in the digital realm, designer Anton Gjorsev put his Photoshop software and imagination to work to create his vision of what a CLA 45 AMG Black Edition could look like, adding a wider front bumper with aerodynamic canards, bloated wheel arches and matching side skirts.
