Daimler’s Smart unit is affording us a first sketchy look at the new Fourjoy sub-compact that is set to have its international premiere in a less than a week’s time at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Here’s what Smart told us about the new model in a short statement: “#Sneakpeek: take a first look at the design sketch of the upcoming smart fourjoy, forerunner of a new smart generation. Stay tuned for more!”
What this means is that the Fourjoy is a study that hints at the design and shape of Smart’s upcoming five-door hatch, which is currently in the development phase with the Germans working together with Renault to engineer and build the car that should arrive in the market within the next two years.
More information on the concept and the production car is to be released at the Frankfurt show.
