While not a household name in the global tuning industry, Steinmetz is known in Europe and especially in Germany, for its Opel tunes. The two most recent Opel models to fall into the fiddling hands of Steinmetz are the Mokka small crossover and the Cascada soft-top convertible.
Steinmetz’s individualization offerings for the Mokka are mostly concentrated on the SUVs appearance and include a front bar, side steps (both finished in matte black), chrome trims for the door handles and window surrounds, an available matte black grille, plus various sticker and emblem sets.
Completing the look are new 19-inch wheels shod in 225/45 R19 sports tires, with the German tuning outfit also offering a sports suspension kit lowering the ride height and a sports exhaust system with a bulging (and not in a good way…) chrome tailpipe.
For the new Cascada, Steinmetz’s list of goods is currently limited to a lowering kit for the suspension and 19-inch ST10 alloy wheels mounted in 245/40 R19 sports tires.
