Old truck parts and some extra bits of scrap metal were all that was needed to create this imposing twelve-foot mech statue. Apparently built by one (unnamed) man (which I suspect may be from China) over the course of about a month, it is definitely the best piece of property defense he’s ever going to get – it beats lawn gnomes or scarecrows, that’s for sure.
It would not look out of place outside a geeky software baron’s Hollywood hills mansion, passing the snobbery test as it looks painstakingly crafted with extreme attention for detail, yet still authentic somehow…
It’s an end result that impresses even if we try to be really critical. We can almost picture the one headlight come on all of a sudden, and it begin to move with an accompanying soundtrack of hydraulic and servo noises…
