We wouldn’t blame you if you decide to pause this security camera footage of an out-of-control Volkswagen in Brazil, right after it plowed over a 56-year old woman and her five-year old grandson, as at that point, you’d be inclined to believe that both victims were goners.
Yet, if you continue playing the clip, you will see with great relief that the young boy stands up all by himself, while his grandmother begins moving as well.
Amazingly, the 5-year old was virtually unscathed and was discharged from the hospital the same day he was transferred there for precautionary reasons, while local media from Brazil reported that his grandmother was released the following day having suffered only some minor injuries to her legs and feet.
The bizarre accident happened when one car t-boned another vehicle, which was then hurled onto the white Volkswagen pushing it towards the boy and his grandmother who were on the sidewalk.
