What started as a limited offering to select clients upon request, has grown into a substantial business for BMW and its Individual program that allows customers to dress their cars in special and more distinct colors, trims and accents not offered in the regular catalog.
Beginning from this spring, the newly introduced 4-Series Coupe (F32) and Convertible (F33) will be available for custom order, with BMW offering the first photos of the two cars prepared under this program.
The 4-Series Convertible displayed in the images sports a Pyrite Brown metallic paint and 19-inch light alloy wheels “V-spoke 626 l” on the outside, and a two-tone interior with fine-grain Merino leather Opal White on the seats, part of the dash and the door panels, while the instrument panel is covered in black leather.
The coupe version of the 4-Series comes in a BMW Individual Citrine Black metallic exterior paintwork and rides on 19-inch light “V-spoke 626 l” alloy wheels. Inside, the customization brings BMW Individual fine-grain Merino leather in Gold Brown and BMW Individual Plane Auburn dark fine-wood trim.
BMW said that from spring, it will also offer a Merino leather steering wheel as well as an instrument panel finished in leather for the 3 Series Sedan and Touring models.
