Following a first very positive review from WhatCar, we’ve discovered a new review of the all-new Nissan Qashqai, this time from Auto Express.
The second-generation Qashqai has many expectations to live up to, as the previous model was Nissan’s best-selling car in Europe for years. So how’s the new one?
For starters, it looks better while still retaining the first generation model’s familiar shape. It’s bigger, which means there’s more room inside, and the quality of the interior is seen by the reviewer as a “quantum leap forward” – it’s worth mentioning here that the car tested was a top-spec Tekna model.
On the road, the new Nissan Qashqai is described as comfortable, refined and grown-up. There’s one downside, though – the crossover lost a bit of its fun factor. That is partly due to the 113hp 1.2-liter turbocharged engine that is deemed a bit low on torque, with the reviewer recommending the 1.6-liter turbo petrol unit instead.
