What could have been a simple bump on a taxicab took a turn for the worse when a Taiwanese rider kept on the throttle after impact and was dragged for a long distance on the road before tumbling down. The man’s scooter continued speeding on until it hit a bus.
Perhaps the most worrisome aspect of this incident isn’t the crash itself, as these things can and will happen, but the indifference of dozens of pedestrians and fellow motorists, as no one stopped or came to the man’s help, even though he was lying down for a good amount of time before he tried to get up.
