For a race of beings who think that they’ve discovered everything here on earth and are looking into the stars for new findings, there sure seem to be plenty of spaces lost in time like this abandoned auto dealership in Switzerland.

It came into the light, or so to speak, by Reddit postereastpa” who shared a handful of photos along with the following words:

“So I found a parking lot full of old abandoned cars today,” he said. “There were a bunch of old Mazdas, Hondas and a few Saabs. There were some Mazdas from the 1980’s inside the dealership as well, which appeared to be brand-new. From what I understand the building has been abandoned since around 2001. EDIT: The dealership is located in Switzerland.”

Very little is known about this ghostly showroom, and the photos don’t paint the best possible picture, so we don’t know for sure if any of the cars are actually new – the 1980s Mazda 323 GT does look to be in pretty good condition for its age.

Perhaps some of our readers from Switzerland can help us find out more. I did notice in the Mazda photos a “Bowling Universum” sign on an adjacent building, with a quick search on Google Maps Switzerland providing two results, “Bowling Universum 2 GmbH, Industriestrasse, Kriens, Switzerland” and “Bowling Universum D. Studer, Industriestrasse, Dietlikon, Switzerland”. However, only the latter a comes up on Street View, and I’m not sure if that’s it.

Feel free to poke around, though, and give us a heads up if you discover something.
